Hey,
Well, that time of year is coming up, and I'm looking for a nice secondary overdrive pedal to boost my Tube Factor.
I would want something which could give a nice clean boost, but can also add a bit of grit.

I was looking at Sparkle Drives and Maxons, because they have them at my local store, but I've also been looking at Keeley modded BD2's.
Any other suggestions? I play primarily blues and blues-rock, and I have a budget of about 150 USD.

Call me Wes.

I thought the OCD and Fat Boost2 were under 150...
Those were the two fulltones I was more interested in.

I'll check out that Blues deluxe though.

No problem.
I'm checking out clips ATM, but i'm still not sure.
I'm listening to PGS clips as we speak

From those clips, i'm most impressed by the OCD at the moment.

I really like my Maxon OD-9. It's a great boost and adds some very nice grit to my cleans. The OD-9 is really just a Vintage TS-9. I've heard my OD-9 compared to my friends Vintage TS-9 and the sounded the same except the OD-9 is alittle brighter. Vintage TS-9's are pretty expensive about $300+. It would also look very nice next to your Tube Factor.

OCD is really nice. Picked mine up for $143.

A used Vexter BOR. Even more dynamic than the OCD. Though, I like the OCD's tone better. The boost on the BOR is a nice plus.

Way Huge's Pork Loin is a very versatile OD too. I was very impressed.

Ming: Thanks for the recommendations. The BOR doesn't seem like it's for me, but I'm checking out that pork loin.

Fulldrive 2 Mosfet. Has a clean boost mode and is really quite transparent anyway. They've started stocking them at GC too.
