I already have this:

But it seems that the last two times I've been to Guitar Center, I've fallen in love with this:

I'm considering selling the Thunderbird in order to buy the Ibanez.
Do you recommend it?
I like Fall Out Boy.
That is all.

i gotta say. that ibanez just looks beautiful to me. and im more of a explorer/firebird shape kinda guy. but i would say go with whatever one you feel more comfortable playing. or you can always save up and have both.

yes sell the thunderbird. the ibanez is probably 10x better

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.

Ibanez. The constructions better, the QA is better and better tone and weight distribution.

There not mud buckers, i always took mud buckers to be pickups shoved right up to the neck.

If you like the Ibanez more, than yeah sell the T-bird and get it. There's bad karma in selling your first instrument though...can you have both?
Nope, no sig here.

I think the karma of owning the T-bird is worse than selling it.

Try to have both, but if you can't definitely sell the T-bird and get the Ibanez.

It's actually not my first one. My first bass was a Silvertone, which is currently on my wall with "Retired" stamped across the back.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it.
