of course it's possible, but it won't be cheap. you're looking at $600 at the least for parts and installation.
i used to be a mod, then i took an arrow in the knee.

better off getting a new guitar price wise, something with a bigsby maybe

If hes looking at a FR, im pretty sure a bigsby isnt what hes lookin for if you catch my drift.

(id rather have that sweet sweet bigsby any day)

EMGs: Yes, you can do it yourself. Floyd Rose: you'll have to rout and install and probably then refinish your guitar (since you will have made a couple large holes in it) so I'm going to say no, you probably can't do it yourself. Nothing on you, just that it's a ridiculous amount of work. Best bets are to either buy a guitar with what you want, skip the trem and go with the EMGs, or get one of those stetbars or whatever that replace your hardtail.

EDIT: everyone beat me to the punch here.

If you have templates and the correct router bit, routing for FR is a piece of cake, just need patience and a good firm grip

What's a good router to use? I'm sans power tools altogether, and I'm getting to the point where being able to rout would come in handy.

since its only an ec 100 i would say get an ec that already has the EMGs u want and practice routing on the ec 100 and if all goes good there do the new EC
