Looking at new pickups for the neck and bridge in my PRS SE Custom. I play mainly some blues and classic rock but would still like some bite and crunch if I need it.

Ive heard good things about Seymour Duncans ('59s SH-1 in the neck position).

In the bridge I am considering Alcino II or Pearly Gates.

I may be going down the entirely wrong path so what is a good setup?

Thanks

A JB in the bridge is really good for classic rock, I've found. That said, I haven't heard a Pearly Gates.

get a DiMarzio Air Norton for the neck (it"s only $99) and for the Bridge well um ask someone else I got a DiMarzio Tone Zone but I don't want to lock you to one brand. Just saying I have 3 guitars and all of them got and Air Norton in the neck but hey maybe I just really like DiMarzio.
Oh Hey look at my signature

I wouldn't - JB is too hot and too trebly for what you want.

I'd go Custom 5 bridge, Pearly Gates neck.

You don't need something that hot in the bridge, trust me. I would suggest Pearly Gates neck and 59 Bridge. The Pearly gates in the neck is one of the best sounding neck pickups I've heard for Blues and Classic rock.

The 59 bridge is just a nice pickup all around - not as much bite or treble as the Pearly Gates bridge, it's really hard to go wrong with it. You don't want a high output pickup because NONE of that music was played in high output pickups, and trying to drive a low gain amp with high output pickups just sounds gross.

What's your budget? If it's high, the Bare Knuckle Mule will be the best thing you can get. Blues wise, the Stormy Monday is very mellow and the PG Blues has a hell of a Greeny tone. Also consider the Riff Raff, which is slightly more classic rock, but still great. The Abraxas is a bit higher output, but is very smooth and bluesy and perfectly suited to a PRS.
If you can afford Bare Knuckles, definitely get them.

are the bare knuckles imported? they are almost 200 brit pounds a pair so here in the US thats kind of steep.
budget is around $150-200 USD
