Here's the image file of my arrangement. The roman numerals indicate the general positions (referring to which fret the index finger would be placed) and the circled numbers indicate the general lowest string played in the chords.

Cheers, that'll give me something to learn over the christmas hols. I'm trying to improve my music reading skills. At the moment I can read well enough to score stuff in sibelius, or play as long as I have time to slow down and work out the notes on the sheet and transfer them to guitar, but I can't read and follow sheet music (play along in other words).

Any particular tips other than keep practicing?

Notation is about about familiarity. When you read each note, actively dictate its name (A, B, C, etc). Also try to associate every note with the fret and visually process where it is (keep in mind there are a few frets for every pitch). And just read more and more. Your mind will develop an automatic reaction as you read more.

...modes and scales are still useless.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed, and I don't know about anyone else, but there are songs I would like to add to my myspace playlist... so maybe someone could upload them as a band?

I must say, I haven't been around here in quite some time and I'm glad I came back in time to see this. It's amazing, and you guys are all so talented.

As with Pitropolis, I am amazed that something like this can come out of a community like UG. Not to say that everyone here is a pre-pubescent snot-nosed kid looking to extend their e-peen, but it's a large part of this place, and knowing that we have serious musicians who can collaborate on projects like this that turn out to be amazing works gives me hope for tomorrow. Well done to all that were involved.

Soooo I made the myspace band page, but it says there is a maximum of six songs... any suggestions for the worthiest? I don't want to have to choose.

No reason to be an ass... I can't imagine why they would care if they would allow their song to be downloaded by just about anyone. But, ok, we'll go with this.
