There's still a few weeks left but as the end of the year has appeared so soon after the last one (has anyone else found this year has flown by?) it must surely be time to compile your favourites of 2008.

Also if you have any tips for 2009 feel free to say.
Quote by Mia (Pulp Fiction)
Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*t in order to be comfortable?

That's when you know you found somebody special. When you can just shut the f*ck up for a minute, and comfortably share silence.

Quite a selection for favourite albums, good to see.

Was 'Wall-E' really that good? The title pissed me off too much to want to see it and then the robot looked too much like Johnny 5, didn't have a hope in hell of living up to the reviews.
Glad 'The dark knight' is coming out well, asked for that for Chrimbo.

But the actual (non-download) version was January 2008.

I considered listing it because of the technicality, but it was still issued in late 2007. It made all the 2007 lists. It really does belong to that year.

First name that came into my head and then I realised it could probably suggest multiple people. Was a lame joke

is it just me, or has this year been incredibly disappointing? okkervil river's album was really boring. i only enjoyed a couple of songs. same with sun kil moon's april. i also expected something really quite abrasive from dcfc this time, but narrow stairs was really middle-of-the-road, in my opinion. and i haven't been able to get into any of the hyped artists this year apart from maybe bon iver.

there has been some good albums, don't get me wrong, but nothing incredible.

definitely agree. okkervil's record was solid, but nothing special. i mean i love the vintage pop of she & him, but there are some years, it'd be hard for that record to crack my top 10 and it's my #1 this year. kind of a let down. oh well, there's always next year.
