How do they compare?
Obviously, the Powerball is 40W more than the Fireball and it is 4 channel as opposed to 2.

How do the distortions compare? The cleans? etc etc.

I know, it's a really open question, but I'm interested in them after trying out a Powerball in Poland and looooooooving it.

Thanks..

The powerball is a rich mans Fireball :P maybe slightly less gain on tap but more gain than you'll ever need with better clean channels

simple choice, if you can afford the powerball get it, if not, get the fireball

Only downside to the Fireball is options and versatility... Other then that the thing is great if you cant afford a Powerball

Yeah, I was wondering about the versatility, but I suppose that's obvious from the start!

But overall, sound quality is basically the same?

Yes. It's not like the difference between a Marshall MG and a mid-80's JCM800, that's for sure
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

Theres going to be slight differences due to the versatility (aka more tweakable options) and wattage rating. Example the Fireball will break up quicker then the Powerball. Also different size transformers yield slightly different results in tone. But there pretty much the same amp.
