So I just got a new guitar (Washburn WI66V in quilt transparent blue. I'll have pictures once it arrives in the post), and its got a tremolo on it. Recently I've been trying out string gauges and I've noticed that I really like the sound and feel of gauge 11 strings (Plus they give good finger strength). If I equipped my guitar with the gauge 11 strings, would I have to make adjustments to the tremolo itself in order for my guitar to not break? Is it possible to have such heavy strings with a tremolo? The tremolo is a Fulcrum Stay-In Tune Vibrato Tail Piece. I think its pretty similar to the Strat tremolo.

Thanks
