Hey hey hey, I've been playing guitar for about five or six years, and have never owned a decent acoustic. I'm thinking about selling my Jackson because I've really grown out of playing death metal, and I'm getting into blues like you wouldn't believe. I've always felt that acoustic blues is a musical genre all its own for its uniqueness, and I'm really hoping to explore it on my own.

I don't want to blow 25 bills on an amazing Martin, but I'm not looking for some cheapo starter guitar. Maybe 6-7 hundred? Any ideas peoples?

That's not a strict budget either, I'm open to ideas.

I was in a nu-metal band when I was 15. I hated the top 3 strings (G,B, and E). I wondered why guitars even had them.
