I've got a nashville tel with three pickups, but i never use the neck pickup cause its just too mellow....so i was thinking could i put in something a lot hotter whether its a single coil or hb in the bridge? if needed i can drill out the cavity a bit more, but i want something hot, so if i wanna play a van halen esque solo i get get more umphh.

Also, any way i can swap out the bridge so i dont have to use barrel saddles anymore, cause they suck

well to play a van halen esque solo you probably would be using the bridge pickup anyway? Eddie only used the bridge.

yeah sry bout the neck typo haha, but yeah it sound good in the bridge on my ibanez but, the tele is too trebly for that, i use it for chili peppers and tom petty stuff...i just want a hot pickup for the bridge that'll scream a little bit

Get SD Hot Rails

Stacked Humbucker ftw.

(Stacked Humbucker = Humbucker the size of an SC)

I tried it out in store.

Great neck, nice n light, good tuning stability. Overall a good guitar. I didn't but it cause I generally only buy guitars over a grand now.

so i can put this hot rail into my neck and you think it'll let me play some harder rock, while being able to keep the bridge and middle strat pickup for that trebly sound? I'm going to replace the bridge at some point but I'll probably keep that country tone...this way ill have one guitar that does it all well enough

Also, on the bridge, my current tele has the string thru holes on the very backside of the bridge, on these its like a inch away from the backside of the bridge....could i drill the holes through the guitar to get them lined up?

Sounds were recorded,"Wet" into Reaper using Gearbox/Podfarm.No onboard processing in Reaper as they were just a test last week when I put new strings on

Tip: Some Strats had the middle PUP wired the other way round so if you fit one of these and the sound is thin in the BM combo they are out-of-phase,Just reverse the main two wires on the new PUP
