I wouldn't recommend the Sperzels, because not only are they expensive, but they only have a ratio of something like 12:1, which is not particularly good.

You'd be MUCH better off buying something non-locking like Grover, which have a higher ratio, install a graphtech nut on your guitar (large increase in tuning stability imo) and stringing up 'good style' - someone post the diagram!

Well, I have sperzels on my sg, and i love them. They stay in tune for weeks, and are great for quick string changes (you can do a string change between songs at a gig, bonus for me). Compared to the stock tuners, they are amazing. I might put some on my fender also but not sure yet.
