I heard I could get electrocuted or die or something if I get something called a ground loop when running two amps. I will be using a Boss tuner pedal to split the signal. I want to have different pedals running to each amp- (example: a delay to one amp but not the other etc). How do I avoid a ground loop or avoid wrecking my equipment?

Isn't it great how you care about your equipment more than your safety.

Damn it makes me proud to be a guitarist.

Ground loops don't hurt your equipment, they just sound bad. Try your setup 1st just to see if it hums a lot. If it doesn't then your equipment already has a grounds isolated. If you do get the extra hum then you need to get a ground lift adapter or use a transformer with a 1 to 1 ratio in order to isolate the ground of one of your amps.
Not taking any online orders.

Never heard this before. I run 2 amps all the time never have a problem. It wont kill you just adds noise.

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad you took the time to write it.

So I just should try it out and see if there's noise- if there is, would a specific tone splitter box that's housed properly and grounded and stuff be the next option?
