I'm in the market for a new amp and can't decide between 3. I am a beginner and like to play metal. I'm also looking for a new guitar but if this site has taught me anything it is amp first. Looking at a Roland Cube 30X, Peavey Vypyr, or a Vox AD30VT 30W. Hoping to keep it under $400 if possible but would be willing to pay a little more for the right amp.
For metal? Definitely a Cube.

Depends, I would prefer new but if the deal made sense I guess I could get a used amp. I would love to get a Randall RG50TC but a little bit out of my range.
