Can someone just list all the players (Pro) they know that play 7 string guitars, and what songs best showcase the use of the 7th string. It would be really helpful for me
Thanks.

Meshuggah. Forgot the guitarists' names.

They do on their old stuff, but they use 8-strings now. F# Standard FTW!!!

Fredrik Thordendal on their older albums (Meshuggah) but they have permanently switched over to 8's now.
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.

Chris Storey from All Shall Perish, dude's a beast on guitar and i imagine the other guitarist Ben Orum uses one too otherwise i doubt it'd sound right. anything from the cd Awaken the Dreamers will showcase some sweet guitaring including that 7th string

screw 7 strings. anchorhead uses 8 strings bitch!
If you're a hot chick you've probably got a good chance with the lead singer or guitar player, If you're a little bit overweight, you should probably go for the drummer. If you're a dude, go for the bass player

True, my hands would be far too small for their scale

I've yet to see one for sale. I'd probably get one if they mass produced them.

Yes, they seem to be pretty rare, I've never seen one at a Store, and they're still scarce on the Net.

It's pretty odd, that 7 and 12 strings are more popular than 8

Both Ibanez and ESP have production 8-strings. In fact, ESP has three.

On topic, Jimmy Bruno, George van Eps, and Lenny Breau, if you want to hear sevens played in jazz.

Charlie Hunter plays eights.

Charlie Hunter is pretty badass. I found him on Wiki a few weeks ago looking up The Gone Jackals (I doubt many know of the band).

EDIT: Damn internet connection, I tried to make a post half an hour ago but my connection died on me, now someone beat me to it. flkjlsdjaf;sjj

Schecter makes a production 8 string. Dino Cazares uses it for Divine Heresy. At least im 90% sure theres a production model.
