I have bought several guitars used for well under your limit with Duncans. Hell, I paid 70 bucks for a BC Rich NJ Series KK V with Duncans just one pup was worth that alone. New I don't think I ever seen a guitar with Duncans under 6 bills. It might be worth it to buy a less expensive guitar and swap the pups out with Duncans of your choice.

Ebay or Craigs list. I have better luck on Craigs because you can see the guitar try it and negotiate on the price. It's a buyers market right now and a lot of motivated sellers out there that need dough. You want true Duncans not Duncan Designed pups. The DD are OK but no where near as good as true Duncans.

Why not just buy a guitar then buy some pickups afterwards?
