Hey all, i've got a Vox Valvetronix 30w amp and wanted to know what you think is the best way to set it up. From the forums and talking to ppl, some have it:

- on the floor, not tilted at all
- on the floor, tilted upwards.
- 3 feet above the ground on shelving
- 2-3 feet above the ground but resting on solid materials all the way to the floor to transfer bass frequencies effectively

Which do you guys think is ideal? I'm really open to ideas here.

I had it slightly behind and to my left, around 8 o'clock to me, for awhile and my left ears' hearing was suffering as a result. I want it more frontal rather than behind or to the side, what do u guys think? How do u all physically set yours up in relation to yourself?

I just set my Cube on the floor. Sometimes I tilt it up (hah 10 lb. history books are good for something :P) but usually I'm too lazy too.

it is much better on the ears(meaning you hear the amps true tone) when it is up towards you depending if you practice sitting or standing
