Can anyone give me a list or just a few songs that have a choir in it that make it sound really unique. LIke Hollywood Undead-young, and Greeley Estates-Go west young man. Just a few, very few, examples but if you know of anymore it would be much appreciated.

Deathspell Omega - Carnal Malefactor.

Most beautiful.

I was just going to say that.

Sabaton (Art of War, Primo Victoria and Attero Dominatus are the albums that have it, on quite a few songs)

Nightwish - Meadows of heaven

Nightwish - Romanticide

Nightwish - Ghost Love Score

Nightwish - Wanderlust

I'm getting a bit bored of writing the word Nightwish now

You could also check out Paradise Lost. I'm thinking inparticular of the song Close Your Eyes and the entire self titled album.

A lot of Blind Guardian and Iced Earth songs have choirs in them. A lot of power metal is full of choral goodness actually.

More like layering of voices in the case of BG.. maybe I've just not listened to the songs by either of these bands with choirs in them...

In Sacred Flames by Iced Earth. Choir doing Latin chants. Great stuff. Divide And Devour has some choir during the middle of the song (by Iced Earth as well).

I never thought I'd say this, but Bloody Piss sounds damn good.

There's a decent amount of choir use in both Power Metal and Gothic Metal. Symphonic Metal as well can use choirs.

Blind Guardian is more layering than choirs.

Anorexia Nervosa- Stabat Mater Dolorosa has a sweet Gregorian chant used throughout.

I love you for knowing that band

Some other sick choirs are:

Chthonic - Quasi Putrefaction
Chthonic - Progeny of Rmdaxtasing
Moi dix Mois - Deflower
Mors Principium Est - The Unborn
Mors Principium Est - Pressure (skip to 2:34, its subtle but amazingly beautiful)
Mozart - Dies Irae
Mozart - Lacrimosa (not metal but still sounds epic)

Theres tons more, but I dont have my Ipod on me Sorry, but check those out!

The first song that comes to my mind is "Of Sins and Shadows" by Symphony X. The part with the choir is pretty short, but epic nonetheless.

Damien, by Iced Earth.

And of course, the classic: O Fortuna.
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"
