this usb cable- http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921665234500 - says that it is compatible with the sony nwzs615f walkman.
it says that the cable records music at a high speed but, thats all it says, does anyone know if it is normal, or if it charges it?

here is the mp3 walkman

It may, if it's a USB 2.0 cable plugged into USB 2.0 port, allow music transfer to be faster, otherwise it's a normal USB
BUT, the mp3 player also uses it to charge up.

I have that cable and a NWZ series walkman.

Sync and charge your Walkman through your computer.
What more do you need to know?

It's just a USB cable with the sony propietery connection on one end.

Anyone else think proprietery USB connectors should just be killed off? What was wrong with the old generic ones that cost 50p?
