No, that's what your brain is there for, and you're ALWAYS thinking about something, unless you're sleeping. If you're thinking too much, you're tired.

And I'm pretty sure you head doesn't hurt from thinking too much.

How about thinking so much about stressful things, causing a great amount of stress which eventually results in a brain tumour being formed? I mean, it'd be incredibly unlikely to happen, but it might.

Right, but when you're awake you can get tired from constantly focusing your brain. Yes your brain is more active when asleep, but it also re-energizes from it.

2x=26x - 32
-24x= -32
x= 32/24
x=4/3 or 1 1/3

I even showed my work, what do i win?

EDIT: maybe if you're mentally retarded, or have a shock collar that sends a shock to your head everytime you think, orrrr you live in that one story (i forget) where you are really smart so you get handicapped and you hear a very loud noise every couple of seconds to stop you from thinking.

no, but there are rare events in which case the human brain has so many electrical impulses running through it, that your head will explode. im dead serious, look it up. there was some russian chess player that it happened to.

Based from experience, I've gotten headaches from my own frustrations of the subject. I've concentrated so hard on tests, and felt physically drained. Funny thing is, that happened only when I took geometry.

Close, you should end up with
2x = 16x-32
-16x -16x
-14x=32
and you should get x=2 7/8 (I could be wrong)

On topic: I don't think thats possible, unless it causes enough stress to cause a headache, like was said above.
