Not just any movie. Something really thought provoking that will really make me think about things in a different way...
.. for a good hour or something.

I havn't watched an awesome movie in ages. I think V for Vendetta was the last one. So can anyone suggest any clever movies which make you think, 'Wow i never thought about it that way before!'. Doesn't matter what genre, but thrillers/action would be pretty good.

Give me some ammo!

It may be kind of corny, but Into The Wild was not really boring but was one of the movies that may have made you put a different perspective on life...it did for me at least.

edit: wasn't really boring but relatively slow

I find This Is England pretty moving, if that's what you're after.

This, and Dead Mans Shoes.

And if you can get hold of it, check out a French film called La Haine.

Good Burger-It's thought numbingly good!
Eurotrip-I saw it & thought "wow I'm never going to a sex club in Amserdam again!"

But seriously, The Butterfly Effect?

Dude I got these strings the other day that couldn't be tuned to higher than 4 octaves below middle C then I realized that they were shoelaces and they weren't making any sound at all.

You should DEFINITELY see Dead Mans Shoes then if you liked TIE - it's by the same director and has a few of the same actors.

Plus it's even better.
