Though I have Winamp, I still need iTunes to upload songs to my iPod.

I recently downloaded a CD.

I tell iTunes to add the MP3s to my library, but it won't. I go through the whole "add new folder to library" thing, but when I select the file, nothing happens. It closes the window of folders, but doesn't add anything.

How can I fix this?

EDIT: When I added them to Winamp, it converted all the files to "lossless audio" files (?).

Can't people read? I downloaded a CD. I don't have a physical disk, I bought the files.

try right clicking the song you want in itunes and select "open with - itunes"

When I do, iTunes opens, but doesn't play anything.

Hmm... I'll try that.

I don't think I enabled iPods in Winamp while I was installing it though

He said he paid for it. You do know there are plenty of places online to pay for music then download it, right? It even says that he bought it right in the line you quoted. Nice job.

^ And to add to the burn, I'd like to note that when you buy from some stores (namely iTunes) it comes with the liner notes in PDF format.

You have converted the mp3 cd into lossless audio files format.

lossless files don't work on itunes, They do however work on Winamp.

convert them back to normal mp3 to play on Itunes.

/thread.

A) Get files that iTunes can read. If you want them in iTunes, buy them from iTunes. That's your fault.
B) Drag and drop.
