This is a question for a real Gibson fanatic. I can't find too much info on this guitar:

It is a 2005 model (determined by serial number) and it has 2 volume knobs and 1 tone. That is different than the Les paul DC Standard (only had 1 vol and 1 tone). I see that the "Les paul DC AA top" ( http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Les-Paul-Double-Cutaway-AA-Top-Electric-Guitar?sku=513810 ) also has this setup but from reading reviews of it it seems like a more recent model. Is that what it is? If you know what it is, is there anything in particular I should know about it buying it? I know that is plays and sounds unreal but if there's some reason I shouldn't get it let me know.

Not really, it only has 1 tone knob, the switch is in the DC location, etc. There are legitimate reasons for me to ask this question. The pickups for instance vary between the DC models.
