Is it okay to have to use more than one finger to do whole step bends and sometimes even go baseball grip? This is mainly for the high e string, which i almost have to bend to breaking point to be accurate.

By all means use more than one finger for whole steps. And by baseball grip i guess you mean wrapping your thumb around the top of the neck and in that case you almost have to sometimes......watch some videos of your favorite players

Don't see why not. There is no right or wrong method for bending. The definition of "bend" on a guitar, would be to curve a fretted note to make it sound higher pitched (or vibrato.) If you can do that, you're doing it right.
