Hey guys, I'm back with another question.

Now on Tuesday I'll be performin' Messiah Will Come Again by Roy Buchanan, well it's more like Gary Moore's version. I want to spice it up a lil' though, so I want to improvise a lot. Now which scale(s) would I be able to use for this?

The chords are: Amin, G, F, B7 and E.

Thanks in advance.

A natural minor for the most part, throw in a B7 arpeggio over said chord (you could also use some diminished lines, triadic material would work nicely, based on the flattened supertonic - in this case C - to really jazz up the sound), and then A harmonic minor over the E. Easy peasy.

I'm not familiar with the song or either artist's interpretation of it, but you will likely find they make use of the Em pentatonic scale over this progression.
