It would be interesting to hear if any of you have interesting sweep picking progressions that utilize arpgeggio shapes or extra notes that add flair. I'm talking about stuff outside the typical Minor/Major/Diminished shapes.

Here is one I made up quickly

-----7-10p7-----7-8p7-----5-8p5
---8---------8--8-------8--6--------6
10------------9-----------7-----------7

I do, but I only have it in standard notation but do not feel like converting it to tab. Alot of charlie parker's licks (particularly during ii-V7-I7's) can be swept to good effect though.

this is something i made up (as far as i know anyways). im not all that great on what it actually is, but i think its an A minor followed by a D minor then an E minor, then the same 3 string shape down a half step (Eb minor?), then the A minor again. thats my guess but like i said im not too great on the theory stuff yet.

oh yeah, i dont know if thats common or what sorry. but i think it sounds pretty nice and i haven't heard it before.
