Stumbled across a 30 Watt combo for 75 USD, and I did a little research and found that they're about twice that brand new, but I don't know how well they sound, or if they're even worth thinking about.

Has anyone had any experience with these amps? If not, what would be a good amp for me to buy in the 100-150 USD price range? I just need a small one to practice on, as I mainly play bass.

I play everything from punk to metal.

Any experiences with the Orange Crush combos, as I have been considering those as well, but I wasn't sure if it would match my playing style

The Orange Crushes aren't anything special unless you have a fetish for orange colored things.

Really? I checked around the site, and heard that they weren't bad amps for just practice amps. Not anything compared to the top of the line stuff, but decent at least. So a Roland if I don't like the Axtron?

The problem I'm having too is that I don't know if I'll get to try it out, as it's in a pawn shop, which is why I wanted to know if anyone had heard of the Axtron series.
