Some people complain that they don't listen to rock because rock is incomplete without a voice.
Not true at all, a great composition is enough to express the inspirations.

I've known some instrumental stuff and after watching an interview of Steve Vai on youtube, I just realized that he's the nicest guitarist and good with words, and I'm curious of his work.
Definately going to rent Passion and Warfare tomorrow.

What instrumental albums do you think we all should listen to before dying?

Those are my recommendations:
1. The Allman Brothers Band Gold
Most of it's not instrumental, but just listen to Don't Want You No More and Pegasus.

2. Ah Via Musicom by Eric Johnson
Cliffs of Dover is a win. Nuff said.
One Shot - Dark Shot.
Soon you will sit on the bench
of those who deny I have my soul
You sell a dream you create
Condemned by what you condemned before
Smooth are the words you sing down and high
Underground is your joy your laws
Cacophony - Concerto
Electric sun - Earthquake
Uli Jon Roth - sky concerto

EDIT: whoops, I posted songs. :P

Everybody should hear Soothsayer at least once before they die.
