Hows it going UG. I have a B-52 AT212 all tube 100 watt combo amp with a triple rectifier. The other day I took a standard audio cable (1/8 inch to 1/8 inch, headphone size) and put an adapter on one side to make it a standard guitar cable (1/4 inch), but stereo instead of mono. So basically a fully stereo 1/8 inch male to 1/4 inch male cable. I used the cable to plug my ipod into my amp through the guitar input because as far as I know the amp doesnt have a jack for external inputs like cd players or ipods. I put the amp on clean and everything and played a song. With some eq'ing it sounded like a semi ****ty overall decent music setup for a party or something. Is this bad for my amp? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It will sound like crap, but obviously works. Just make sure you keep the bass low. I'd also go into the ipod's eq and turn it on bass reducer. Guitar speakers aren't meant to handle low frequencies at high volumes.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not
