Ive had my drums for about a year now, and since christmas is comin up im lookin for some additions to my kit.
Ive got a basic 6 piece kit, (2 rack toms, 2 floors), with a stand of 3 roto toms, a cowbell and tambourine, 2 crash cymbals 1 ride and a 10in. splash thats rigged up like a china.
I play all kinds of stuff, but some frinds recently got me into a lot of modern metal (Mastodon, Lamb of God,etc.)
What else should i get for my kit if im gonna be playin stuff like this???
Anything else i should get in general?

Look at Big-Dog double bass pedals, they are quality for what you pay.

Also get a decent china, that might complete your cymbals.

My bad... Forgot to mention that ive got like a basic double pedal.
Im lookin to improve tho.
Whats a pretty quality brand?

There really isn't much to add-on...

How about upgrading your stuff? New skins are always fun.

Edit: For bass pedals you've got Yamaha, DW and Tama and all of those for the big brands.

But I bought Big-Dog and they are just as good as any big name brand, and a lot easier on the pocket.

No I'm not a Big-Dog endorser, surprisingly.

Alright. I was kinda looking into a 16in. thrash china to put up under the splash mounted on the bass.
But i don't have enough space fopr another bass drum.... I can barely fit everything in my space as it is.

Really? They just seem too cheap to be excellent.
Then again, anything would be better than the ones i got. (pdp dp402)
I cant stand them.

My band's drummer's endorsed by Zildjan- his kit rules.

Go for comfy stool.

Is he well known?

Just wondering, you sparked my interest.

Yesha- Lew West. He's a session player, but he's the full-time drummer in TINADT.
