...how can I get rid of it? Ad-Aware is picking it up but when it tries to delete it, it is still picked up in later searches.

If none of the anti-adware/spyware programs work, try restoring to a few days ago before you got it, then scan for it.
When all else fails, ask the pit.

Wow its found nearly 300 pieces of spyware, the problem is, it costs to register and you need to register to delete the spyware.

That's not even Spybot. Did you even check the page first? Spybot S&D is completely free (for personal use).

No I didn't, I just googled. I have the free S&D and just assumed it was the correct one.

Downoad HiJack this, run it and post the log to a malware removal site such as the Spybot S&D forums.

I love the good old days, when you get viruses from downloaded music and the occasional porn, and trying to clean the viruses and hide the naked girls in the pop ups that appear on the computer for other people in the household
