Question!

I'm currently trying to decide between getting the original RB + instruments + RB2 or getting GH:WT + RB + RB2...

It's driving me ever so slightly insane. The kicker is that I have to buy myself RB + RB2 with the second option...

Anyone got any recommendations here?

I know it's sacrilege...

...but I reckon it'd be good for stopping all the goddamn fights at Chrimbo.

By the way, I did try the Gaming Thread before any smartarse starts - but it's dead unfortunately.

Buy RB2 then lend RB off a friend then copy all the songs from RB over to RB2, i think it lets you do that

I don't know but I am debating getting WT right now.

Is getting the full set worth it? Are the drums mic worth it is what I'm saying?

i like the rb 2 guitar, it's got a thinner neck and i like rockbands setlist better, i don't care for half the songs on gh:wt, but thats just me

Buy GH:WT colmplete w/ instruments, buy RB2, and then RENT RB1, download the songs onto your system, then return. you will have all three for the price of 2 + a rental fee!

i don't really like the strum bar on rock band's guitar...and the drum heads on the rock band 2 set are much quieter and responsive than the rock band 1 set

Get RB2, borrow RB1 for the songs, get the GT:WT drum set if your getting GHWT after RB

EDIT: GH:WT has 5 pads and RB has 4 so thats why you would need the GH:WT drums

Yes, I was thinking of doing that kinda thing!

I just have to get RB2 as my own Christmas pressie to myself.

Also, to point out - I'm in the UK, and we don't get the RB2 instruments until February! Unfortunately, this is a Christmas present, so I can't wait til then.

Instead, why don't you use the $250 to improve your rig. Or give it to me, so I can improve MY rig.
