Hey guys, I jsut purchased a boss dd-6 and its an amazing pedal, but i just have one question. When using the hold features which is set to record 5.2 seconds. I usually play something that is about 4 seonds long and when it loops there is a gap between it, so is it possible to record exact 4 seconds I recorded witout having a gap.

i don't think so, thats the downside to the DD-6
I got a DD-7 and it doesn't do that

loool
You've got to lift our feet in time. It's not a downside, he's just doing it wrong... Don't wait time the loop time ends...

i really don't want to buy a dd-7 because it costs 185, and i got the dd-6 for 85. And Is there really no side effect,a nd am i just doing it wrong.

the dd-6 works fine, but it does take a little practice to get the timing down...well not really practice, but you have to have the coordination developed between your ears and feet, which is quick for some but not for others...most people experience a little bit of this when using this kind of looping feature
