Hey everyone, I have a question regarding computer monitors, and it's a quick question.

My monitor died, and im guessing its the power supply, and my question is, are power supplies for monitors brand or model specific, or can they be used on different monitors, because i have an old one, and it's crappy and the good one that died is a 22 inch.

tl:dr, can power supplies be used in different monitors?
Poop.

Yes, poop.

on most new ones the power cables are universal, but if it's an old CRT monitor there's also a highly likelihood that the CRT failed.

Computer monitor? Like, a flat panel monitor, or the old box monitors?

I get used 17-inch box monitors from places like Goodwill and Salvation Army for like 10 - 20 bucks, all the time.

Wait, if your monitor died how are you typing this?

Yes. I, too, would like to know how you're typing this. Because, as we all know, THERE'S ONLY ONE COMPUTER ON EARTH.

You dipshit.
