would it be nice tho? Angry 40 year old men talking about the problems in the world just doesn't appeal that much, at least to me.

and I think AngusFan was reffering to the fact that Metalica's good music is dead, and he wants GOOD Metalica back.

No idiot, he means the REAL metallica.
Their new stuff is horrible compared to back when they had Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton. I can't even listen to their new stuff

thank god i've seen RATM and Rush live.

but both are still technically together i believe.

most of the bands i listen to are still together actually, but i can think of a few at least:

System of A Down (though technically a hiatus i think. at least i saw them live already)

Black Star (Mos Def and Talib Kweli)

The Misfits with Danzig

I agree. e4xcpet even if they did get back together, it wouldn't be the same, cause Tom's all different now.

Tom sucks now if you ask me. i can't stand Angels and Airwaves. luckily i saw Blink-182 back in 2002. good show.

It's better than 19 year old men talking about the problems in the world. Experience matters. Either way, I've always been a fan of the music and not necessarily the lyrics.

I'm pretty sure Rage were together when I saw them live 4 months ago.

Didn't think Rush had split up either.

But to contribute rather than criticise, Death From Above 1979. I recently got into them and the one album they made was pretty awesome and quite original considering they only had a bassist and drummer.

It would also be pretty cool if Led Zeppelin got together and did a gig that wasn'r purely for publicity at a ****ty little arena that can't hold 1/1000th of the people that want to go.

Just... No.

On Topic: SOAD. Scars on Broadway is a joke, Serj solo isn't so bad I guess, but SOAD was very enjoyable.

I agree sort of. He did make a amazing contribution to Kill Em' All, but Cliff was really the soul of the band after that album.

While Rage is back together, there was an article on here a few days ago where Tom said they would probably not release another album since he is too busy with The Nightwatchmen.(ugh)

So I say Rage with an album, and motograter(though I love Five Finger Death Punch)
