I'll try to keep it concise. I took my friend to see The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (her favorite band) play tonight. We got to the venue (called The Orbit Room) and I paid for our tickets via my credit card.

After the concert (which was great, by the way) we go to buy band tees and I look in my wallet and find I didn't have any cash (the bands don't take credit cards, of course) so I asked if there was an ATM. Turns out there wasn't one.

So we go outside and walk across the parking lot to the mall and I got some cash from the ATM outside the building. We walk back to the Orbit Room and the damn security wouldn't let me back in. I told them it would take 2 minutes to buy the merch (and there were still tons of people leaving) but the assholes wouldn't let me in.

So my friend and I agreed we'd look online for the shirts. Unfortunately, I've been looking for half an hour and I can't find the shirt she liked (it's for the RJA Guardian Angel foundation, half of the tee-shirt purchase goes toward the organization).

So here are my questions...

1) Similar experiences?

2) Anyone happen to know a site which would sell the shirt I'm looking for? All of the links to the Red Jumpsuit Alliance and Guardian Angel foundation aren't working.

Many thanks!

This is why you keep the ticket with you so you can still get back in.

Let me elaborate.

I had my ticket stub and my receipt for the concert. I showed them my name on the receipt, my Driver's License and my credit card.

Still they wouldn't let me in.

I even said I had a friend in there waiting for me to give her my money (I lied, of course) but they still wouldn't let me in.

I know they don't go home til all of the patrons have left, but come on, there were still people in there!

You couldn't keep the ticket?

It's understandable if not. But usually they trade it for a wristband or something if for whatever reason they take it from you, so regardless, you still should have had someway to prove you were in.

Not sure what you're talking about, but I did a little searching for you. Couldn't find what you were looking for but maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I've been searching everywhere, but haven't found it.

It looks like this, but it's a white tee shirt and the words are in red.

Most venues are no re-entry
you should probably know that...
if you want merch, bring money for it

Yeah, I realize I made a huge mistake not making sure I had cash.

And this was actually the second concert I went to which was at an actual "venue", so to speak. Usually I just go to week-long outdoor music festivals .

Too bad man, but lesson learned.

Wanker venues can ruin a gig by the best band
