I've been looking for a new pedal lately, and the Artec Crazy Metal seems to be a pretty good pedal for my limited budget.True bypass, sturdy metal casing and cheap. Has anyone here tried it before? I'm trying to find a pedal that suits my playing such as Megadeth, Pantera, Slayer, Metallica, Municipal Waste and other trash metal bands. It's even better if it'll achieve t3h br00talz tones like death metal. Any reviews? I can't find any reviews on UG.

Oh yeah, I'm using a Laney HCM10 for my amp. Gonna upgrade it too anyway but I'm getting a pedal first though.

I know. The thing is, I'm not gonna use the pedal together with a modelling amp. I'm having the new amp in my garage, but pedal with my current amp will go in my room.

I've got their noise gate and bass EQ/tuner. The noise gate is alright, doesn't really suck tone or anything, I just wish it had more threshold. The EQ functions perfectly as an EQ, but it's tuner feature is meh.

Anyway, I do like them as a budget pedal manufacturer. If you want that distortion, I say go for it.
