Hello,

I'm having trouble with naming a chord. For the first half beat, the notes are F, A, C, and D with A in the bass. For the second half beat they are G, B and D with G in the bass. So all together they would be GBDFAC. So would that make it a GMaj11? Help please...

EDIT: I'm sorry I made a mistake, for the second half beat there is no D, just a G and a B. G is still in the bass.

Would you not classify them as two separate chords, an F6 and a G Major triad?

Edit: Changing.
To be brave is to take action in spite of fear. It is impossible to be brave without first being afraid. To take action without fear is not brave, it is foolish.

The song is in 4 but the two beats are eighths. Would I classify them separately or as one chord? By the way the song is in the key of G.

Ah. Hold on. That F is actually sharped, my bad.

So this would just be a diminished F#6 and a GM?
