since I play live with the blues jr., I like the tone and volume, but want a little more projection (fill out the room better and let me hear it better)...so i was thinking of getting a 4x12 cab to hook it up to.
1. I've read that I have to hook it up to a 8ohm cab
2. Does this mean that the sound will only play out of my cab or out of both?
3. Will it really help, or will micing it into PA be a better solution?

I just think its a better idea than getting a head and cab, cause I can save money and use the blues jr. as a head or as a separate amp to practice on...thanks

It'll play out of your cabinet if you disconnect the speakers.

I think you should just mic it.

You could do it, and only the cab will play since the bj has only one speaker jack. You'd have to disconnect the combo speaker and plug the cab in where the speaker was plugged in.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

It'll sound different, certainly project better. I don't know if it would be better, just different. Mic'ing it like HB said is also a good idea.
