Hey guys,

Being 17, i feel like I've missed out on a lot of great music and so I "catch up" in a way and the Rolling Stones is a band that that I have "ignored" for quite a while now.

So what would be a good record to start out with ?
go with their live album "get yer ya ya's out" i think that if i band sounds great live then they are worth listening to cos the studio quality is normally better

nice to hear of a fellow stones fan. i'd recommend Exile On Main Street or Sticky Fingers as they're the most well-known and from those two albums you can get a pretty good idea what the stones sound like.

How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.
