i have a single coil in the neck of my strat and a humbucker in the bridge. the sc isnt near as loud as the humbucker, so are there any single coil pickups that retain the single coil tone but only with more volume?

try raising the pickup

it shouldnt seem as loud as the humbucker, im sure your bridge bucker has a higher impedance (more gain) than your single coil

... Lower the humbucker?
Show some initiative. If you can't make one as loud as the other, make the other quieter.
