So my homework this weekend was to annotate a passage from Othello, and I'm really, really bad at doing so. Could anyone give me a hand?

From Shakespeare's Othello, Act 1, scene 3.

326 It is merely a lust of the blood and a permission of the will. Come,
327 be a man. Drown thyself? Drown cats and blind puppies. I
328 have professed me thy friend and I confess me knit to thy
329 deserving with cables of perdurable toughness. I could never
330 better stead thee then now. Put money in thy purse. Follow
331 thou these wars; defeat thy favour with an usurped beard. I say,
332 put money in thy purse. It cannot be that Desdemona should
333 long continue her love to the moor - put money in thy
334 purse - nor he his to her. It was a violent commencement, and thou
335 shalt see an answerable sequestration - put but money in thy
336 purse. These moors are changeable in their wills - fill thy purse
337 with money. The food that to him how is as luscious as locusts
338 shall be to him shortly as acerb as the coloquintida. She
339 must change for youth; when she is sated with his body she
340 will find the error of her choice. therefore put money in thy
341 purse. If thou wilt needs damn thyself, do it a more delicate way
342 then drowning. Make all the money thou canst. If sanctimony
343 and a frail vow betwixt an erring barbarian and a super-subtle
344 Venetian be not to hard for my wits and all the tribe of hell, thou
345 shalt enjoy her - therefore make money. A pox of drowning
346 thyself! It is clean out of the way. Seek thou rather to be hanged
347 in compassing thy joy then to be drowned and go without her.
You pretty much just have to paraphrase and then explain, if I'm not mistaken. It's not that hard
what level you working at? are you expected to just realise what's going on, or actually go into some literary analysis?
Hahahahahahahahahah hahahaha har har har
Yeah I'm good at annotations but seriously, suck it up and do your own work. Essentially, you read and take notes to help yourself either understand or elaborate upon ideas. Note contradictions or ideas which you want to explore further. If you need help understanding, I'd love to help you out and feel free to message me, but I'm not gonna do it for you.
