I need to find a play to propose my drama class performs in a few weeks. Any types of play are allowed but I have to give a summary of it, reasons why we should perform it etc.

Therefore, mighty Pitonians, I am in search of plays that have pirate themes. If the pit has any idea's of suitable plays, it'd be most appreciated.

Cheers,
Andy

Pirates of Penzance is a great show, but I doubt that'd help your situation. It'd take a long time for it to be a nice production.

I was hoping for a pirate play, as an excuse for this showmanship idea I've had in my head for the past few days, but if not no effort lost.
Just need a good play suitable for 7 people to perform.

The Tempest or Twelth Night. They're not really about pirates but they both start with shipwrecks.

David Farr's 'The Danny Crowe Show.' Cast of six and one person to be director/tech operator. Sorted.

EDIT-This is providing you're allowed to do plays with lots of swearing in them.
