Hey guys, I'm going to be replacing my pickup and getting a distortion pedal.

Sound I'm looking for: Modern Rock/Marshall Crunch I like to play a lot of versatile music ranging from Anberlin, Explosions in the Sky, Paramore, Saosin, Taking Back Sunday, to solos - Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Slash etc.

Current setup:
PRS SE EG S-S-H Setup
Traynor YCV40 Tube Amp

For pickups
Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Bridge Pickup
or
DiMarzio PAF Pro Bridge Pickup

For distortion pedal
AMT Electronics California Sound Distortion (Replicates Mesa Boogish sound I heard)
or
Keeley Boss DS-1 Ultra Mod
or
Barber Direct Drive

Feel free to suggest bridge pickup/distortion pedal!

Thanks all

Steer clear of the Invader, it's horribly muddy and not suitable for what you want...the Paf ro is a good pickup but wouldn't be my first choice for you....look at the Duncan Custom, Dimarzio Norton and Dimarzio Breed.
Actually called Mark!

Thank you, I was going to get Invader without knowing how it sounds like. I'll look into the pickups you suggested.
