hey guys,

first of all, in my lengthy experience here in UG i still dont know where exactly to place this thread.

anyway, i wanted to develop or try medieval-ish songs that are usually done with an acoustic and accompanied by a violin and etc...
those songs that incite the inner childhood tales of knights and wizards and giant lizards...

are there any songs that would you like to recommend me?

Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar. If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.

I guess I'm kind of like a hippie. I'm anti-war, do drugs, and like communism.
Your not a hippie, just a ****ing moron.

The Bard's Song by Blind Guardian.
Well, anything by Blind Guardian, really. Or Hammerfall.

Mr. Sandman by Blind Guardian. (Doesn't sound medieval, really, but it's good)
When the Eagle Cries by Iced Earth.
The Road I Must Travel by The Nightwatchman. (Kind of folk-sounding)

I totally wish I could help more, but I prefer distorted guitars and shred stuff.

Emilie Autumn has some medieval stuff. She's a violinist, though. She doesn't have any heavy-sounding songs.
