Twisted Sister did a whole Christmas album. Do those songs except with less glam and more growl.

Check out Gary Hoey, he is a master of making Christmas metal songs. Well,maybe more like hard rock, but he's still a good example.

"What Child is This?" (to the tune of Greensleeves) is awesome. It has a really good chord progression and melody for that kind of thing.
