Right at the moment, I have an old and crappy Epiphone PR-100 (although it was one of the nicer versions, made in Korea with great hardware and passable tone.)

I'm highly experimental, but a lot of what I write ends up sounding a bit like Radiohead, if that helps.

It would probably serve you well for experimenting. You can place it on different parts of your guitar and see what happens. For the price, it's worth a try.

Yup. It should be ok for simple stuff. You'll need a preamp though. The signal from passive systems are very weak.
