I have got a rosewood Fretboard on my jackson RR3, or it may be ebony, anyways
i was wondering is there anything to apply on it to make it last longer, and clean.

I heard lemon oil does the trick, but i dont know much about that

Can someone please give me some info on this?

and im going to apply clear gloss on to my maple neck, is that a good idea?
also can is it ok to put furniture polish on the maple(mr.sheen stc..)

lemon oil is perfect for it but dont use too much and dont too it very often. once or twice a year is all it really needs. i wouldnt put anything on the neck. it could slow it down. itl last as is

wouldn't varnish a neck if i was you

and google says very fine steel wool is all you should use for maple fretboards

edit: a tiny amount of furniture oil containing petroleum distillates is kosher
