Could a mod move this?

The M-audio Fast Track is cheap, and good. Not the best obviously, but I like mine for the price I got it for.

pro tools MBOX 2 499$+
Lexicon Omega (200$)
Lexicon Lambda
(149$) and Alpha (100$)
I owned the bold ones. with the lambda, my connection to the USB cable broke, so i'd suggest being careful. i had it for 2 years tho. just got the protools one and love it.

in the main part of the forum, there's recording gear discussion, just scroll down a bit.

and it depends what you're looking for or what you need.

toneport will do fine if you're doing single track at a time stuff like i do. or maybe you need to mic and entire drum kit, or acoustic guitar and vocals, etc etc..

what kinda stuff ARE ya doing?
Grammar and spelling omitted as an exercise for the reader.

First, read the pinned posts at the top, they will get you started.

The Toneports work but they are not all that great IMO
See the "Line6 Discussion Thread" I made a while back.

I suggest going for something around $150 or $200.

Emu 0202 USB
Emu 0404 USB
PreSonus Inspire 1394
Mackie Onyx Satellite (not for vista users as drivers wont be made for that OS)

All good starting units, choose whats best for you.

Jesus christ, would you guys grow up?!

TS, what is your budget? Does your computer have Firewire? Do you plan on recording via mic or straight into your computer?
