The title says it all, say the features of a custom guitar you would have

Gibson SG
-Black/Navy Blue Sunburst Finish
-SG Standard Pickguard
-EMG pickups (2)
-Custom Headstock Shape
-Floyd Rose
-Grover tuners
-2 Volume, 2 Tone Knobs
-Maple neck
-Mahogany Body
-3 Way Pickup Seletor
-24 3/4 Size Frets

Yeah. Just say everything you would want if you were able to get a custom guitar.

It doesn't have to be a shape of an original guitar, you can make it your own shape.

A good portion of us UG'ers already have customs. And i think this may have already been a thread, it was something like dream guitar, or something to that nature

That just proves my point lol Well... to participate i would put everything that my custom already has on it, except maybe i would put a floyd rose on it, i don't think thats possible though

probably a '66 epiphone coronet, from the custom aspect probably another p90 in the neck, and some phase switches like on a fender mustang, the best tuners available and i could go either way on a whammy bar, but probably without one
#9
i've done this the last day or two!!

i want 7 string versions of these...
Ibanez RG (would be 7-string, but can't get it on the site)
Mahogany Body
Ebony Fretboard
EMG 81-7 or EMG 707 or Seymour Duncan Blackout (havn't tried them all out yet)
Original Floyd Rose
One volume knob
Inlays: Probably just some design of my own on 12th fret (but only got two choices of inlay for this)

Also 6 & 7 strings of this...
Jackson Rhoads
Mahogany Body
Ebony Fretboard
EMG 81 or Seymour Duncan Blackout
Original Floyd Rose
same inlay situation as Ibanez's

& with them, i'd be set for life!!
Just need some insane amps!!

I have been considering ordering a custom guitar in the next year, so this has already had a lot of thought.
It would be either a Jackson or ESP. I would have either an AX style body on the ESP, or a more curvacious, sleek Randy Rhoads if its a Jackson. The RR would need a slight tweak for playing in classical position.

Body:
Probably alder, maybe alder over swamp ash, or the reverse.

Seymour Duncan: Blackouts metal AHB-2 in the bridge, no neck pickup
http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/electric/humbucker/

one tone control and no volume

Schaller "Hannes" bridge (so nice)
http://schaller-guitarparts.de/hp122835/Hannes-Bridge.htm?ITServ=C5ecf09abX11e3c888778X68d8

Neck:
ebony fretboard over a mahogany neck (possibly maple, but most likely not) w/ flat paint, the gloss stuff is annoying.

1-5/8 nut width (the "baseball bat" neck, since I love the thinness)

thin-fast neck profile (or, for ESP, extra thin U)

Compound radius 16"-20"

24.75" scale length, since the string sizes for Drop C work out better over the 25.5"

Probably Grover tuners, though Schaller tuners are OK.

Neck through body design on course, no Floyd.

That about sums it up. It is not a perfect guitar but I am pretty sure it would work for what I do (generally pretty brutal stuff, shred, metal). Feel free to copy any part of this design, I think it is pretty good.
Thanks for reading,

a Gibson Sg/Ibanez GAX75 like body.
Gibson style pickups (with plates and all)
Tune-o-matic bridge.
I'd want the N-tune device put in.
Id have the Neck that of The Gibson firebird w/ banjo style machine heads.
23 frets.
Locking Nut.
Ernie-ball Strap locks.
Individual knobs for both pickups (Volume and tone)
Normal Frets
Blue paint job with white lightning bolts on the left and right.
Star inlays
12th fret inlay "L-A-S-H" the A being another star
It'd be called the Angel Typhoon

Cuz im cheesy like that.

But alas im broke but its a dream.

steinberger L shape body
entire guitar carved from one piece of maple (body and neck)
gloss white with black hardware

lace alumitone pickups (H/H)
volume, 3 way select, EMG PA-2 Boost
modified Steinberger T-trem type 1 (symmetrical design)
pickguard on the top "wing" of guitar (for the electronics to be swapped if needed)

Modded Steinberger GP-2R (white) (EMG81/60)

probably a semi hollow paul reed smith SE (the les paul shaped one with bird inlays), but instead of humbuckers, 3 vintage pickups (strat style), a les paul pick-guard, 5 way switch selector, some kind of locking tuners, 2 tone knobs instead of one.
