this is the cable i use now: http://www.samash.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_EG%20Excellines%20Series%20Instrument%20Cable%20Assorted%20Lengths_-1_10052_10002_184747

ive had it for about a year and its been crackling alot lately and it coils up constantly

so im thinking about getting a new guitar cable for christmas, 15-20ft, $50(US) max preferably under

samash is the only major store anywhere near me(or best buy, but i dont know what they carry)so its going to have to be a pretty common brand

and if it matters i play a washburn wi64 through a vox ad30vt with an eminence ragin cajun

make sure you wrap the cable up properly I cant describe it, but if you watch a cowboy film its alot like how they wrap the lassoo's :x

A quality cable makes quite a bit of dif, personally I'd steer clear of planet waves.. and dont go stupid on price I use a few of these http://www.activemusician.com/item--MC.HOT6-0SL lasted me well over 2 years of gigging and practising and not one crackle
